 Total 2026/27 harvest 290,855 tonnes

Farmers delivered just under 200,000 tonnes last week as receivals across the Bunge network continue to increase. Barley was the major commodity, followed by wheat, canola and lentils.

A further 15 sites received their first loads of the 2026/27 season, with most activity remaining on the Eyre Peninsula.

“Thevenard was our busiest site for the week as harvest progressed in the upper north of the region. Deliveries to Wudinna and Port Lincoln also started to increase,” says Nick Pratt, Bunge Eyre Peninsula Senior Manager Industrial Management. “We saw activity peak on Friday, before rain slowed progress over the weekend.”

The sites which received their first deliveries of the season last week were Buckleboo, Elliston, Kimba, Penong, Poochera, Streaky Bay and Wirrulla on the Eyre Peninsula; Ardrossan and Port Giles on the Yorke Peninsula; Crystal Brook and Snowtown in the Mid North; and Loxton, Monarto South, Pinnaroo and Werrimull in the Murray Mallee.
